This survey was designed to gather information on the Primary PE and Sport Premium from a sample of primary schools in England. The Department for Education (DfE) is interested to know how primary schools have used the Premium and their views on the outcomes it has had. In particular, what if any difference the doubling of the
Premium has made since it was given to schools in September 2017.

Schools were surveyed between 20 September and 12 October 2018. Respondents were encouraged to consult with colleagues across their school as necessary in order to complete the survey.

The report looks at the findings of the primary PE and sport premium survey.

The survey asked for teachers’ views on the impact of doubling the premium in primary schools.
