CheckPoint - provides help to young people aged 8–18 across Torbay. Support is available for young people who feel their drug or alcohol use is causing a problem. CheckPoint provide support over the phone, online or face to face and can offer the skills and strategies to help a young person move forward. They have also produced an CheckPoint Drugs and Alcohol Service information leaflet

www.talkaboutalcohol.com is written and managed by a charity called The Alcohol Education Trust (AET). The website site is designed to be used by young people in a classroom setting as part of PSHE lessons on alcohol. It is designed mainly for Key stage 3 and complements the Talk About Alcohol teacher workbook, which is full of lesson plans, games and worksheets.
