The "Eat Them to Defeat Them" programme by Veg Power - is an exciting and impactful initiative designed to encourage children to eat more vegetables in a fun and engaging way.
It is a multi-award-winning campaign that combines the power of advertising with a comprehensive schools' programme. It moves away from traditional messaging and introduces a concept that children find enjoyable and motivating. The campaign has been running successfully for several years, with over 1.7 million children from more than 5,000 primary and special schools participating. The programme runs for a week starting the 10th March 2025.
What does the programme involve?
There will be a focus week starting on the 10th March. Physical resources will be delivered shortly before with a guide of suggested activities and promotional materials. The programme can just run during the focus week or be extended if desired throughout Term 4. Resources will be supplied for five veg-theme days: Carrots, Broccoli, Red Peppers, Peas and Sweetcorn.

- Engaging and Fun Activities: The campaign includes a variety of activities that make eating vegetables fun for children, such as games, challenges, and creative cooking ideas
